The Kentucky Derby is the first jewel of the Thoroughbred Horse Racing Triple Crown. Since 1875, the Kentucky Derby has been considered the ‘Sport of Kings’ and the ‘Greatest Two Minutes in Sports.’

In fact, since 2007, Churchill Downs implemented the Kentucky Derby ‘”Red Carpet” and VIP entrance to allow special attendees and their guests a more glamorous arrival. Kentucky Derby’s broadcast partner NBC provides televised coverage of the Derby Red Carpet arrivals, giving fans the opportunity to watch their favorite celebs walk the carpet & hear who their Derby pick is.
